Dress Code

- Mandatory Class Attire is designed to help maintain a uniform look in class and ensure that we can clearly see each dancer's movement for better feedback and technique development. This promotes discipline, confidence, and unity within each class.  All gourmets are customized for Essence Dance Studio and we have sample sizes to fit all sizes. These items can be purchased at the studio ONLY.  The required uniform pieces will consist of: 

(1) Essence Dance Studio Team Jacket (all classes)

(2) Your choice of any variation of Essence Gear.  Essence Leotard, and/or Essence Halter  Top,  with Essence High Waisted Spanks, and/or Essence Logo Sweatpants and/or Essence Logo Sweat shorts.

(3) For hip hop classes only you can wear Essence logo sweatpants and/or Essence Logo sweat shorts with variation of white, red or black shirt.

(4) Proper dance shoes for each class can be individually purchased from the vendor of your choice. Example: Jazz shoes, Ballet shoes, Lyrical dance paw,  Contemporary dance paw, and Hip Hop Tennis shoes.

5) Hair Sleeked back in any hairstyle ponytail/bun/half up half down, etc!
(Optional but highly preferred).
